SGMP’s 2010 charity of the year is the The PRIME TIME Program is offered in East Gainesville, an area where the high school drop-out and teen pregnancy rates are disproportionately high. The children who participate in PRIME TIME are from households unable to afford traditional after-school programs. PRIME TIME serves at-risk and low-income children at no charge. Their funding comes from individuals, local churches and civic groups. The PRIME TIME PARTNER PROGRAM allows people and organizations to directly support the $1800 annual cost per child for the academic year. |
